Hey, we are Aline, Bruno de Bassi, Emelayne, Flávio Augusto, Gabriel Hossaka and Maria Camile. We are students of the 8th grade in Medianeira.
Our group chose to volunteer to the WWF one of the biggest none governamental organizations that promotes nature preservation, because all 6 of us have noticed that there is a great problem with the natural environment all over the world especially here in Brazil in the Amazon rainforest.
How ever our group has faced some difficulties such as: how to start a WWF Paraná chapter so we can provide protection for the atlantic forest wich has significantly reduced in size over the past years.
We would also need to be older so that we can aquire property and supplements.
if our chapter was a succes we would hope to reduce illegal love and illegal hunting. That is if we overpass our various difficulties we have.
thank you and go check uot our coleeg's posts

Hey, we are Lara Ono Reis, Gabriela Bochi, João Victor, Sofia Tonon and Rodrigo. We are studens of the 8th grade in Medianeira (Curitiba - PR). In our class, we learn about Charles Bradley and a music of him, the "Change for the World". Inspired on it, we are posting this text to inform you how you can be a volunteer to change the world with love and make up the difference.
At first, we will say what is a volunteering. Volunteer is someone who does an unpaid activity. The volunteer give some time to help someone. Dedicating your time to volunteer, you can have some benefits like new friends, develop emotional stability, reduce risk of Alzheimer's (more about it: https://www.nationalservice.gov/sites/default/files/documents/07_0506_hbr_brief.pdf), and improve school experiences.
After knowing those things, maybe you are thinking: "How can I be a volunteer?". It depends on the place you live and what you want to change the world. Today we are going to inform you about a specific and interesting volunteer work: the voluntary work in hospitals. The objective is try to do the patient happy and temporarily forget the health problems that it has.
There are some popular voluntary works in the hospitals like the visit of clowns. They are the most traditional and specialist to do the others happyness. We like too some illusionist, because it is easier to like: everyone loves magical things because, well, it’s fantastic! Some people like just to talk or, in the case of children, play games and enjoy with toys. All these examples are available in all the world. In our city, the Hospital Pequeno Principe (http://pequenoprincipe.org.br/hospital/voluntarios/) and the Hospital de Clínicas UFPR (http://www.ebserh.gov.br/web/chc-ufpr?q=content/8-como-ser-voluntário-no-hc) allow people to volunteer. In Manhattan (USA), the NYC Health Hospitals (http://www.nychealthandhospitals.org/volunteering/) and in Ottawa (Canadá), the Ottawa Hospital (www.ottawahospital.on.ca/en/career-opportunities/volunteering/ ).
But, you will have some difficulties: a lot of time, patience and transport are some of them. Probably, you’re a teen, so, you need to dedicate your time with the studies and social life. Also, the majority of the hospitals prefer to open volunteer vacancies just to adults and teens over 16 years old, so, maybe it is good to wait to have the ideal age.

Volunteering in Africa
minimum age: not specified
workload: 25 hours per week
arts: help by painting, sculpture or drawing
to repair: one hand in any repair
Today, the ego on the planet makes people look only for their problems and only help others when it benefits them in some way; for example, many people still think that the homeless are in this situation because they are lazy and not because they do not have opportunities; we found a way to change that: exchange in Tanzania, an African country where you spend a minimum of 2 weeks helping 25 hours a week, working in the community garden, taking care of maintenance and still playing with children.
For us, the difficulties would be our age, the air tickets, the language (intermediate English) and the tourist visa for the country.
However difficult there are, there are solutions: for the question of age we would have to wait until we are 18 years old for the trip, for the air tickets we would need money to buy them and an adult companion, besides learning the intermediate level of the English language and get a tourist visa for Tanzania; We though of this project because we want to make the world a better place, create a better society, a way of thinking more human in us and cultivate in our minds the feeling of empathy and self-transcendence, seeking to help others give these opportunities that can help a lot.

A volunteer job that everyone can usually do, and it is easy is to go and liven up children, adults, and seniors who are taking treatment to cure some illness in hospitals. It's a good volunteer job because to stay days and days in a hospital without having fun, playing games, laughing, talking is bad for everyone. So, go a few times in hospitals to play with children, make plays in theaters to entertain, and cheer everyone up there is a good action.
Even if the volunteer work in hospitals is very good, we need to have some ability to be able to truly participate. Must be over 18 in some cases, you need to be a cheerful, optimistic, creative person who participates in volunteering for liking and not for interest. You need time to create activities, stories to cheer people on and to actively participate
My group and I expect to be able to help children and older people who can not enjoy themselves, by bringing fun to these people we can feel better besides distracting them from something that worries them, such as cancer cure. Aside from being something possible to do in the future will bring happiness to the new generation and the old generation.

- Bring joy to hospitalized children and their parents.
- Collect winter clothing to provide warmthto others in need.

Kids are amazing. They are the ones that doesn´t deserve pain at all. They are innocent and kind. Hospitalized children shouldn´t stay sad with their situations, and we think we could help them to see the best in things, even the worsts. We could go to any hospital and make them smile, just like the most of them does to us. The "Hospital Pequeno Príncipe", in Curitiba, is a great place to volunteer. The volunteers in this hospital participate of the recreation with patients on the ambulatory, on the toy library and on the nurse room. It´s a great kind of helping people.
We also think about collect winter clothing to homeless people to provide warmth. Our motivate to collect clothes was the quantity of people who lives in the streets in the winter. We think that will be a great volunteering and if everyone helps, our world could be better.
